Opal Maxine Snethen was born on May 28, 1922 and passed away Jan. 20, 2016 at Elm Heights in Shenandoah at the age of 93. She formerly lived in Lamoni.

Memorial service was conducted at 2 p.m., Saturday, August 6, 2016, at Lamoni Community of Christ Church of Lamoni, Iowa. Interment was made a Rose Hill Cemetery, Lamoni, Iowa.

Slade-O'Donnell Funeral Home of Leon and Lamoni was in charge of arrangements.
