Mrs. COLESTA KELLER

Died, of consumption at her home in Bush, Oklahoma, April 12, 1905, Mrs. COLESTA KELLER, wife of GEO. W. KELLER. Mrs. KELLER was the only child of WM. and PAMELIA CARR and was born in Appanoose county, Iowa, July 6, 1856. Her mother died when she was only a few days old. She was taken to Ft. Madison and reared to womanhood by her mother’s people.

In 1877 her father came to Decatur county an settled on a farm near Kellerton and sent for his daughter who came and kept house for her father till she was married to GEO. W. KELLER in August, 1880, and lived with him on a farm until 1902 when they sold out and moved to Bush, Oklahoma. She was the mother of seven children. One was killed in 1897 in a runaway accident and six are left together with the husband and a large circle of friends and relatives.

She was truly a good woman, a kind neighbor, a sympathetic friends who ever tried to live a christian life. While she never made any loud profession, her daily walk in life showed the true christian spirit. Then, husband and children, look up and be comforted by the thought that mother had gone home to rest.
