GRACE OLIVE ROBISON, daughter of JOHN T. and NELLIE COWLES ROBISON, was born in Eden Township, Decatur County, Iowa June 5, 1898 and died March 25, 1983 at the Leon Care Center, Leon, Iowa where she had lived since June 1974.

She was united in marriage to HERBERT L. HUBBARD May 32, 1924 at Princeton, Mo. by G. L. EATON, minister of the Christian church. Witnesses were his sister, ANNA REINER, and her sister, ZEITA ROBISON. This marriage was blessed by one adopted daughter, DOROTHEA MAE, now Mrs. WARREN LEVEA.

GRACE was baptized by Pastor N. B. SILL April 12, 1914 and united with the New Salem Baptist Church.

GRACE and HERBERT spent their married life in Decatur County. GRACE graduated from the Leon High School, then taught rural schools in Decatur County and in South Dakota. Later she worked at the Decatur County Hospital until retirement.

She was preceded in death by husband, HERBERT, October 20, 1957; parents; 3 sisters; ZETA BRYANT, ZELTA MCVEIGH and CAPITOLA CRAIG; and great grandson, JUSTIN SMITH in 1973.

Survivors include daughter, DOROTHEA LEVEA and husband, WARREN; 6 granddaughters; SUE RUBLE and husband, STEVE, Sewal, Iowa: SHARON REICHART and husband, HARLEY Elkader, Iowa; SANDRA AKES and husband, STAN, Chariton, Iowa; SARAH WILIAMS and husband, GREG, Marshalltown, Iowa; SHERYL KENTNER and husband, STEVE, Leon; and STELLA LEVEA, Grand Island, Ne.; 5 great grandchildren; brother, J. T. (TED) ROBISON, Corydon, Iowa; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.

[Interment was made at Leon Cemetery.]
