Mrs. U. G. Gibson died at her home at New Hampton, Mo., on January 17, after an illness of only two days with pneumonia. Her remains were brought to Leon Tuesday afternoon, funeral services being held at the M. E. church, interment being in the Leon cemetery. Mrs. Gibson was formerly Miss Lou Ballard of this city.
