Obituary ~ Beulah Ethyl (Epperly) Akes
February 06, 1908 ~ March 20, 1983

BEULAH ETHYL AKES, daughter of WILLIAM CURTIS and HULDAH FRANCES (HIMELRICH) EPPERLY, was born Feb. 6, 1908 in Decatur County, Iowa and died March 20, 1983 at Arlington Heights, IL. after an extended illness, age 75 years, 1 month and 24 days.

Early in life, she received Christ as a personal savior and became a member of Palestine Baptist Church. in recent years, she was a member of Bethel and First Baptist Church.

On May 1, 1930 BEULAH was united in marriage to STEPHEN EARL AKES. To this union one daughter, ALICE, was born. BEULAH was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two sisters: DELLA CORNETT and EFFIE PRYOR; four brothers: ALBERT, FRED, ARTHUR and WILLIE.

She is survived by her daughter, ALICE HARMON, and son-in-law G. E. “JACK” of Palatine, Il.; sister, PEARL ROBB of Leon and brother, EVERETT EPPERLY of San Jose, Ca.; other relatives and friends.

NOTE: Interment was made at Leon Cemetery. ~ SRB
