DEATH NOTICE:

KUSTER, LAURAINE, 50, of rural Lineville, Iowa, died on Saturday, October 29, 2011 at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa. She is survived by her husband, Larry Kuster, Jr., children Larry Kuster, III, Vicky Helton, Shannon Reed, Amy Overhake and Scott Kuster, and 12 grandchildren. Memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at Slade-O'Donnell Funeral Home in Leon, Iowa. Interment will be at a later date.

A memorial fund has been established by the family.

VONDA LAURAINE KUSTER ... Vonda Lauraine Kuster, age 50 of rural Lineville, Iowa, the daughter of Ed and Carolyn Jean [Wiseman] Wigal, was born January 9, 1961 in San Antonio, Texas. She died at Mercy hospital in Des Moines, Iowa on Saturday, October 29, 2011.

Lauraine was living in Louisiana when she met her future husband, Larry Eugene Kuster, Jr. They were married September 23, 1977 at the Calvary Baptist Church in Leon, Iowa by Rev. Max Carmichael. They were blessed with five children, Larry III, Vicky, Shannon, Amy, and Scott. The family lived in various places in Iowa before settling in their current home in southern Decatur County fifteen years ago.

Lauraine was a home-maker and enjoyed her family very much. She liked to garden, do puzzles, take photos, and use her computer and other electronics. She loved dogs and the fall season.

She was preceded in death by her mother and sister, Laura. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 34 years, Larry Kuster, Jr. of Lineville; her children, Larry Kuster of Osceola, Iowa, Vicky and Logan Helton of Leon, Shannon and Bill Reed of Jacksboro, Tennessee, Amy and Michael Overhake and Scott Kuster and fiance Kaylee Nernes, all of Leon; 12 grandchildren, Skyler, Trisha, Lathum, Vanessa, Nolan, Lola, Piper, Hagen, Daeton, Courtney, Karizma, and Chloie; father Ed Wigal of Columbia, Kentucky; sisters, Loretta and Kevin Walters of Webster City, Iowa, Laurette Wigal, Levida O'Neal, and Lucille Wigal, all of Bethany, Missouri; parents in-law Larry and Jacky Kuster of Lineville; and many other family and friends.
