Rogers, Flora Beck –
Mrs Flora Rogers, 64, of Leon, died at the Leon hospital, Thursday evening. She had lived in Lenox until about 25 ago.

Survivors are her husband, Robert; 2 brothers, Adolph Beck, and Henry Beck, both of Lenox; a sister, Mrs Rosa Baker of Clearfield.

Funeral services were Sunday at the Stuart Funeral Home in Leon. Burial was in the Lenox cemetery. Graveside services were held about 3 p.m.

Rogers, Flora Beck –
Flora Lula, daughter of John and Katharine Beck, was born at Lenox, Iowa May 24, 1903, and passed from this life at the Leon Hospital Nov 21, 1957, at the age of 54 years, 5 months and 28 days.

She grew to womanhood in and near Lenox.

She was united in marriage to Robert R. Rogers Oct 8, 1932 and moved to a farm near Garden Grove where they have lived for 25 years.

In 1915 she united with the Calvary Methodist Church, later transferring her membership to Garden Grove Methodist Church. She was a member of the Eastern Star at Garden Grove.

She leaves to mourn her departure her devoted husband, two brothers Adolph and Henry of Lenox, one sister Rosa Baker of Clearfield, many nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister Lena Wurster, two brothers William and Charles, two sisters and two brothers who passed away in infancy.

She was loved by all who knew her. Much of her life was spent doing for others.

Services were held from the Stewart Funeral Home at Leon Sunday, Nov 24. Rev Max Hall of Garden Grove officiated and the final resting place is in the Lenox Cemetery.
