“Father of Osceola Women Died Wed.”

“Roy Hall, 73, father of Mrs. Gladys DeLong and Mrs. John McLain of Osceola, died at a Des Moines nursing home Wednesday. He had been ill for some time. Other survivors include five sons.

Funeral services will be at Leon at 2 o’clock Friday afternoon with burial in the Leon cemetery.”

(Roy Ernest Hall grew to manhood on the Hall homestead north of Van Wert. He married Mary Elizabeth Sales in Leon on August 10, 1902.)
