DEATH NOTICE:

FULTON, TWYLA, 85, of Leon, Iowa, died August 9, 2010 at her Country View Estates home in Leon, Iowa. Funeral Services were held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday August 14, 2010 at Trinity Christian Church west of Decatur, Iowa with Rev. Terry D. Roberts officiating. Burial was in Leon Cemetery in Leon, Iowa. Memorials may be given to Trinity Christian Church. Arrangements were through the Slade-O'Donnell Funeral Home of Leon and Lamon, Iowa.

TWYLA FULTON ... Twyla Valiere Fulton, age 85 of Leon, Iowa was born June 15, 1925 in Weldon, Iowa and died August 9, 2010 at her Country View Estates home in Leon.

Twyla was the daughter of Orville Emmett and Viola Mae [Jackson] Coffelt. She graduated from Leon High School. Twyla lived most of her life in Leon.

Twyla was a homemaker and mother. She enjoyed 33 years of marriage with Leslie Austin Fulton. They liked to dance, golf, socialize with friends, and spend time with family. They wintered in Lake Havasu, Arizona for 25 years. Twyla was a member of the Leon Country Club. She was an independent lady and was very meticulous about her appearance and jewelry. Twyla loved to sew.

Twyla was an active member of Trinity Christian Church and also enjoyed her Bible study group. Twyla always took her bible with her when she went places. She appreciated nature - gardening, bird watching, and growing beautiful flowers.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister Alfreta Townsend; step-son Maurice Fulton; brother Gary Coffelt; and husband Les Fulton in 2007.

Surviving are her children: Donna Jean Rumley and husband Joe of Leon, Larry Caylor and wife Jo of Murray, Iowa, and Bob Caylor and wife Nancy of Urbandale, Iowa; 5 grandchildren: Tony Rumley of Kansas City, Missouri, Rod Rumley of Ayden, North Carolina, Thad Caylor and wife Connie of Urbandale, Sarah Caylor and husband Geoff Batchen of Wellington, New Zealand, and JoHanna Caylor of Urbandale and six great grandchildren; Les's family - step-children: Ron Fulton and wife Melba of Urbandale, LeRoy Fulton and wife Diane of Burkburnett, Texas, Joyce Ausberger and husband Bob of Jefferson, Iowa, Bill Fulton and friend Donna of Urbandale, Janice Scott and husband Lyle of Truro, Iowa, Jeff Fulton and wife Laura of Urbandale, and Julie McKern and husband Doug of Mt. Ayr, Iowa; daughter-in-law Brenda Fulton of Leon; 22 grandchildren: Karen, Mike, Cindy, Greg, Laura, Shelle, Scott, David, Susan, Molly, Sarah, Nicki, Jason, Katie, Jodi, Eric, Kelli, Cory, Aaron, Wes, Kristen, and Shannon, twenty-six great grandchildren; brother Cleo Jackson and wife Millie of Corydon, Iowa; sister-in-law Lenore Coffelt of Leon; nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.
