ROSCOE CHAPMAN ... CAINSVILLE, MO. -- Roscoe "Bud" Chapman, 84, Carlisle, Iowa, died Monday July 4, 1988, at a health-care center in Carlisle, where he had lived the past four years.

He was born in Mercer County, Mo., and was a retired farmer.

Surviving: a son, Leonard, Des Moines, Iowa: a daughter, Connie Prall, Carlisle: a brother, Junior, Leon, Iowa: a sister, Bronna O'Neal, Gardner, Kan.: and four grandchildren.

Services: 1pm Thursday, Stoklasa Memorial Chapel, Cainsville. Burial Fairview Cemetery, north of Cainsville. Family visitation; 6:30 to 8:30 tonight at the funeral home.

"Bud" Chapman, 84, of Carlisle, who died of cancer Monday at Carlisle Care Center, will be at 1 p.m. today at Stoklasa Memorial Chapel in Cainsville, Mo. Mr. Chapman's name was incorrect in a previous obituary, based on information provided by the Funeral Home.
