CECIL HAGAN ... Cecil Elbert Hagan, 86, Tucson, Ariz., died Monday, Feb. 9, 1988, at his home in Tucson.

Mr. Hagan was born Dec. 1, 1901, in Mercer County , a son of James Stewart and Bessie [Mark] Hagan. He was united in marriage to Bertha Lenora Gallatin in 1925. He made his home in Davenport, Iowa, for many years working for the Rock Island Arsenal as a molder. Upon retirement, he moved to Tucson in 1959.

Survivors include his wife of the home in Tucson; five daughters, Dorothy Collier, Muscatine, Iowa, Betty Fangmann, Marion, Iowa, Mary Smith, Davenport, Iowa, Margie Dimick, Cibolo, Texas, and Shirley Granger, Tucson; five brothers, Mervil Hagan, Pleasanton, Iowa, Hubert Hagan, Princeton, Lloyd Hagan, Apache Junction, Ariz., Carl Hagan, Costa Mesa, Calif., and Ferril Hagan, Trenton; four sisters, Erma Dunn, Princeton, Lois Dunn, Leon, Fay Kindred, Osceola, Iowa, and Avis Larason, Mercer; and 25 grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Friday, Feb. 12, 1988 at 1:30 p.m., at the Bethel United Methodist Church with the Rev. Janet Hoyland officiating, with burial in the Bethel Cemetery, northwest of Princeton. Services were under the direction of Greenlee-Middleton Funeral Service of Princeton.
