ELIJAH T. BLAIR was the husband of SUSAN (SEARS) BLAIR, who died January 26,
1916 and is buried in the Franklin Cemetery..

ELIJAH T. BLAIR died in Clarke County, Iowa, January 6, 1883 and is buried
in the Blair Cemetery as follows:

Birth: Aug. 15, 1821
Pennsylvania, USA
Death: Jan. 6, 1883

Husband of Agnes __ and Susan C. Sears.

He died age 61 years 4 months and 22 days.

Also buried here were 5 of the children of Elijah and Agnes Blair as well as
a grandchild, daughter of their son Elijah Hedding Blair.

Elijah and Agnes also had other children[listed in 1860 census] daughters E.
& M. And son G.G. Blair.

Note- This was an actual cemetery in section 33 that the WPA recorded in
1940; it had many grave stones, trees and a fence with a gate. It has since
been destroyed, stones, fence and trees are gone. The cemetery book for
Clarke county lists eleven individuals who were buried here.

Section 33 is south of the Smyrna cemeteries at southeast corner of Clarke
county, bordering on Decatur county. Exact location of this cemetery is now
unknown.
