departed this life at the Leon hospital January 11, 1913, being 25 years, 5
months and 8 days of age.He was married at Leon on August 11, 1909, to Miss IVA BROOKE, and to this

Saturday evening and short services were held at the house Sunday morning at
10:30 o'clock, conducted by the Yeoman lodge of which the deceased was a
member, and notwithstanding the severe cold a number of sorrowing relatives
and friends followed the body to its last resting place in the beautiful
Lineville Cemetery.JAP, as he was familiarly known, was a kind and loving husband and father, a
dutiful son and brother and always a good neighbor and friend, and he will
be sadly missed by all and although we can not understand why one so young
should be called home it is, "Thy will be done." The many relatives and
friends of the bereaved ones extend their deepest sympathy to the sorrowing
ones.-----------------------------------

kindly assisted us during the sickness and death of our beloved husband, son
