DEATH NOTICE:

QUIGLEY, Lexy Jade Ann Marie, 7 months, of Leon, Iowa, died April 5, 2006 at Blank Children's Hospital in Des Moines. Funeral services were held April 8 at Slade-O'Donnell Funeral Home in Leon with Pastor Rick Hawkins officiating. Burial was in Hopeville Cemetery, north of Grand River, Iowa.

A Memorial fund has been established by the family.

LEXY QUIGLEY ... Lexy Jade Ann Marie Quigley, age 7 months of Leon, Iowa, daughter of Michael John Quigley and Kara Marie Arnold, was born September 2, 2005 at Lucas County Hospital in Charton, Iowa and died April 5, 2006 at Blank Children's Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa.

Lexy was a very happy baby. She rolled everywhere, was learning to crawl, and starting to get her first tooth. She liked to be outside and play with her older brother Gavin. Lexy liked listening to her Daddy play "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star" on his guitar. She loved to be rocked by her Mommy and be cuddled by all her family. Lexy enjoyed being around the other babies in the infant room at Early Head Start in Leon. She was loved very much.

Lexy was preceded in death by her great grandma Judy Sego; and her great-great grandparents: Clark Lamb, Wayne and Neva O'Dell, Everett and Frances Boles, and William and Alice Eberly.

Lexy is survived by her parents Mike Quigley and Karen Arnold and brother Gavin Quigley of Leon; grandparents: Diana and Duffy Cannon of Grand River, Iowa, Pat Quigley of Lodi, California, Bonnie and Mike Alexander of Indianola, Iowa, and Gary Arnold of Grand River; aunt Meghin Arnold of Grand River; uncle Justin Stowers of Grand River; great grandparents: Bill and Sharon Stowers of Berryville, Arkansas, John and Jessie Quigley of Napa, California, Dwayne and Jackie Cannon of Afton, Iowa, Mary Apodaca of Van Wert, Iowa, George Sego of Diagonal, Iowa, Dale and Alice Arnold of Grand River, and Bob and Joan Alexander of Indianola; great-great grandma Bessie Lamb of Osceola, Iowa; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

CARD OF THANKS ... The Lexy Quigley Family would like to thank everyone who attended the funeral and provided funds, cards, flowers, prayers and support to us in our time of need. It was and is greatly appreciated. Thanks also to the Clarke County Hospital, Ambulance Crew, Osceola Police Department, Blank Children's Hospital and Slade-O'Donnell Funeral Home.
