OBITUARY: MR. FROWNFELTER DIES AT HOME IN THIS CITY

Ft. Collins, Colorado
Wednesday, January 17, 1923 (Front Page)Elmer Frownfelter, aged nearly 51 years, died Monday evening about nine
o'clock at the family home, 530 Cherry street. He was born in Gallia county,
Ohio, and had been in Colorado about seven years, coming here from Carleton,
Nebraska. Death was caused by asthma from which he had suffered for many
years.There are surviving the widow and four children. Miss Gladys, who is
employed at the local telephone office. Russell, employed with the Dempster
Mill Company of Beatrice, Nebr. Opal, a school girl and little Deane, four
years old. Mr. Frownfelter's aged father, who has been making his home here
with his son, also survives and several sisters in Nebraska and Montana. The
deceased was a member of the Modern Woodmen. His wife, father and children
were all at the bedside when death occurred, excepting the oldest son,
Russell.The funeral arrangements will not been (sic) completed until work is received
from Russell saying at what time he will get here.
