GUY PERRY YOUNG, son of MR. and MRS. TIMON YOUNG was born in Garden Grove, Iowa, June l8, l867, and died Sept. l9, l923, at Weldon, Iowa, being of age 56 years, 3 months and one day.

On Sept. 22, l89l, he was united in marriage to LUCY LANE, of Garden Grove. To this union were born three daughters; ALTA, VERA, and ONA. Death claimed VERA on Jan. ll, l922.

MR. YOUNG was a member of the Masonic Order, having joined some 25 years ago. He with his family have lived in this community the past fourteen years where as managers of the local telephone exchange, they have made many friends and acquaintances. He was a good husband and father.

The deceased leaves to mourn his death his wife and daughters, MRS. TOM WADE and ONA; also two grandchildren; GLENDAL and NADINE WADE, all of this place. A sister, MRS. KATE GEHLHAAR, of Patterson, Iowa, a sister, MRS. ANNA GEHLHAAR, and five brothers, PHILLIP, RICHARD, CHARLES, HARRY and GEORGE, all of Garden Grove.

He was a man whose soul was filled with love and good cheer for his fellow men. He will be missed and mourned not only by his own family, but by all neighbors and friends with whom he came in contact.

The funeral was held from the Methodist Church, Friday, Sept. 2l, at 2 o'clock, Rev. Frank Moore officiating, together with the Masonic Order. Burial was made at Hebron.
