One of the saddest funerals ever held in this community was that of the FULLERTONS at Gregg Chapel, Sunday afternoon. The wife of Uncle TOMMY FULLERTON, and his brother, GEORGE, were buried side by side and while the crowd yet assembled, news came of the death of his daughter, MRS. COLLINS, at the Hopital in Des Moines. Think if you can, how a father already bowed down with grief almost unbearable and then to receive word of another death of one near and dear to him. Readers, to our mind this would break the stoutest heart. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Raybourn, of Truro, he being a former Pastor of the deceased. To show with what they were held in the community, we will say that not one-third of the audience could get inside the church. Several car loads from Murray, Ellston, Kellerton and Grand River being in attendance.
