ARMILDA JANE SHIPP was born in Indiana, August l2, l850, and departed this life May 23, l923, at the age of 72 years, 7 months and ll days.

When a small girl she moved with her parents to Clarke County, Iowa, where she grew to womanhood. She was united in marriage to T.A. FULLERTON, July 6, l865. To this union were born l4 children; eight girls and six boys; four having preceded her to the "Better Land".

She leaves to mourn her death an aged husband, and ten children, U.S., of Sparks, Neb.; MRS. JOHN WILSON, Des Moines, Iowa; MRS. OSCAR WEST, Van Wert, Iowa; MRS. COLLINS, (who passed away the day of her mother's funeral); MRS. ED CARRIER, Weldon, Iowa; ALBERT, of Osceola, Iowa; MRS. LEW GREENLAND, MRS. GUY WILLIAMS, SYLVIA and FRANK, all of Grand River. Thirty-four grandchildren and seventeen great granchildren.

MRS. FULLERTON was the eldest of a family of five children all of whom have preceded her in death. She united with the Christian Church early in life, and always lived a faithful consistent Christian life.

She was a loving wife and kind mother, always ready to help her family. Her children were all present during her last illness and death except one daughter, MRS. THOMAS COLLINS, who was not permitted to be present on account of illness.

She spent the most of her life near Grand River, with the exception of almost two years which she spent in Nebraska. She and her husband endured the hardships of a pioneer life.
