She leaves to mourn her loss, 7 children; 4 sons, 3 daughters; 2 sisters, MRS. MARTHA HUGHES, Albany, Missouri (her twin sister); and MRS. After her marriage, she with her husband, united with the Presbyterian Church.

Much might be said to her credit as a neighbor and friend, but the great distinguishing feature of her life was her devotion to her family. She seldom retired at night until she knew how all the children were if it were reasonably possible for her to talk with them over the phone, and her baby boy, even after he had a family of his own, seldom went to bed without his mother's blessing.

Funeral services were held at the home Wednesday afternoon, April 25th, conducted by Rev. H.L. Olmstead. Interment was in the Leon Cemetery.
