DONA, daughter of LATTA and EMMA HAGAN was born August 20, l889, near Davis City, Iowa. Departed this life January l3, l923, age 33 years, 5 months and 7 days. The cause of her death being pneumonia. She has been in failing health for the past four months, but took seriously sick in the recent past.

She spent the entire period of her life on the home farm living with her parents near Davis City. In her departure, she leaves to mourn, father, mother, three brothers, ROSCOE, EARNEST and GILBERT, also her sister, ANNA, and grandmother, three nephews, one niece, together with many other relatives.

All that loving hands and medical science could do was done to relieve her suffering, but she finally passed to her reward on the above date. A brother, VARGA, has preceded her in death several years ago. The funeral was held in the Latter Day Saints Church in Davis City, in charge of Elder Chas. Harpe. The sermon was by Elder L.G. Holloway, of Lamoni, Iowa. A large audience being present. The music was furnished by a mixed quartet, composed of Mrs. Wilbur Prall, Mrs. Cyril Wight, Mrs. Post, Harve Elafson and L.G. Holloway. Mrs. Scott played the funeral march. Burial in Davis City Cemetery, there to await the resurrection.
