JAMES HARRISON WATSON, youngest son of JAMES and MINERVA WATSON, was born in Fayette County, Ohio, December 25, l864, departed this life near Leon, Iowa, March 9, l922, at the age of 57 years, 2 months and l4 days.

He came to Iowa when he was a young man and located in Decatur County in l895, residing here since that time. On March 25, l903, he was united in marriage to ALICE KALKAS, and to this union were born two children, JOHN and KITTY BELL. He is survived by two brothers, JESSE and ALEX WATSON and one sister, MAGGIE WATSON, together with numerous other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services were held on Friday, conducted by F.A. Caslier. Interment being in the Franklin Cemetery.
