MRS. JOHN A. MCCORMACK was born in Hait County, Kentucky, Sept. l6, l852, and departed this life at her home near Pleasanton, Iowa, March 2, l922, at the age of 69 years, 3 months and l6 days.

She came with her parents to Saline, Mo., in l853 and a year later moved to Harrison County, Missouri, where she spent her girlhood. She was united in marriage to JOHN A. MCCORMACK, December 4, l872, and to this union two children were born, W.A. MCCORMACK, deceased and MRS. MAUD ANDERSON, of near Leon, Iowa.

She was baptized at the Christian Church at Eaglesville, Mo., by Elder J.H. Coffee in l890, by which faith she looked and lived until death.

MRS. MCCORMACK was of a family of twelve brothers and sisters. She leaves behind, her aged husband, one daughter, MRS. MAUD ANDERSON, grandchildren, one great grandchild, two brothers, R.L. MARTIN, of Hatfield, Mo., and E.O. MARTIN, of Blythedale, Mo., two sisters, MRS. C.D. CRAMER, of Eagleville, Mo. and MRS. H.J. YOUNG, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Funeral services were held at the C.U. Church at Pleasanton, Iowa, March 4th, conducted by Rev. Elba Dale and interment was in the Hamilton Cemetery.
