MR. E.H. NEEDHAM was taken suddenly ill Tuesday morning and passed away the same evening about eight o'clock.

MR. NEEDHAM had a severe spell of sickness about two years ago from which he never thoroughly recovered. However, he gained sufficient strength so that he and his wife thought it expedient to move back to the farm, which they did about two weeks ago. MR. NEEDHAM had been feeling as well as usual except for a pain in the back of his head of which he had complained for two days. He had been working rather harder than usual, however, clearing away some brush and getting ready for spring work.

On Tuesday morning he went out about six o'clock to do the morning chores as usual, but did not return at breakfast time. After waiting a reasonable time his wife called him, but got no response. Upon going to the barn she found him unconscious on the barn floor. She could not get him to the house alone and she had no telephone; the nearest neighbor was a mile away.

She hastened to make the trip on foot but it was close to an hour before she could get aid to help him into the house. MR. and MRS. ANDREWS, their nearest neighbors, hastened to her aid and did all in their power, proving themselves neighbors indeed.

Medical aid was summoned but MR. NEEDHAM never regained consciousness and died in about twelve hours, the cause being hemorrhage of the brain.

The family have the sympathy of the entire community. Funeral services will be held this afternoon at 2:30 at the Brick Church, in Charge of J.F. Garver, A. Carmichael preaching the sermon.
