John William Wion b. April 30, 1850 in Jasper Co. Indiana to John and Nancy (Sines) d. May 31, 1923 in Decatur County, Iowa of a Stroke he is buried in Elk Cemetery (row 4) in the same cem. as his first wife, Elizabeth Osborn. Elizabeth was born Oct. 15, 1848 in Aid, Lawrence County, Ohio to Christopher and Emerine.

They had 6 children :

Fredrick D. Wion Aug. 7, 1868- Feb 12, 1948

Wesley William Wion Nov. 19, 1872-1945

Elizabeth Wion

Nancy Emmerine Wion b. Mar 11, 1878

Nora Wion 1881-Mar 18, 1891

Ettie Wion 1883-July 4, 1891

John then married Melvina Cook. They had 8 childern....

John William Wion was my 3rd great uncle, since he was the brother to my 3rd great grandpa.
