Decatur County Journal
Thursday, July l5, l9l5

On tuesday, July 6, occurred the golden
wedding anniversary of MR. and
MRS. THOMAS A. FULLERTON, at their country
home about seven miles
northeast of Grand River, where they have
resided for thirty-nine
years. MR. and MRS. FULLERTON were married
in Clarke County only a few
miles from their present home, so were
pioneers in this community, where
they have many friends and relatives, having
raised a large and
excellent family.

The day will be long remembered because of
the pleasant associations,
the sumptuous feast, the well arranged
program, the delicious cake and
ice cream and "lest we forget" a photograph
of the group by H.O. TUTTLE,
the photographer of Van Wert.

MR. FULLERTON was presented with a gold
pocket knife with a gold chain
attached and MRS. FULLERTON received a gold
watch chain; the gifts of
their children.

Those present were MR. and MRS. GEORGE
FULLERTON, of Grand River, MR.
and MRS. JOHN HOFFMAN, of Redding Iowa,
WILLIAM SHIPP and J.N. MCJIMSEY,
of Van Wert, MRS. MATILDA COON and MISSES
BERNICE and PEARL FULLERTON,
of Norden, Nebraska, MRS. INE SHIELDS and
REV. ROY SHIELDS, of
Hopeville, besides JNO. WILSON and EMILY, GUY
WILLIAMS and wife, LEW
GREENLAND and family, ALBERT FULLERTON and
wife, ED CARRIER and family,
MRS. OSCAR WEST and children, JOE MUNYON and
wife, JOHN COLLINS and
wife, and MRS. WILLIAM COLLINS and children,
who reside in the
neighborhood, and SYLVIA and FRANK FULLERTON.
