Edgar Rowell Enlists in Navy.

Edgar Rowell, son of Dr. and Mrs. J. W. Rowell of this city, who has been a student at Lake Forest University near Chicago the past two years, has enlisted in the navy as a second-class yeoman, and left Chicago Monday for Duluth, Minn., to report to the commander of "The Gopher." Edgar had tried several times to enlist but had been rejected on account of his injured eye, but by persisted trying and some influence this defect was waived and he was accepted. Dr. and Mrs. Rowell went to Chicago Saturday evening and visited him until he left Monday evening.
