Newton - McClarrinon.

Mr. Dixon A. Newton, of Davis City, and Miss Agnes McClarrinon, of Arlington, Iowa, were married at the home of the groom's parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Newton, at Davis City, on Christmas day.

The groom is well known in Decatur county where he has resided practically all of his life until he went to Arlington a couple of years ago where he was operating a garage. When the call of his country came he promptly gave up his business and volunteered in the navy in the aviation corp, being a skilled mechanic. He is now stationed at Norfolk, Virginia, and expects to be in service for a year or more yet before being discharged. His bride is a popular young lady of Arlington, and at the expiration of Mr. Newton's fifteen day furlough they will go to housekeeping in a cozy bungalow which he has all furnished at Norfolk. Their many friends extend congartulations and best wishes.
