T/3 Robert Dale Miller

Robert Dale Miller was born in Burrell Township, Decatur County. He entered the service June, 1942 at Camp Dodge, Iowa. After 2 ½ months training at Fort Leonard, Missouri, he was sent to March Field, California.

His over sea assignments include New Caledonia, New Guadalcanal, New Georgia Islands, and the Philippine Islands. T/3 Miller was with the 955th Engineer Topographic Company Aviation attached to the Far East Air Force and his serial number is [omitted]. He was awarded the Bronze Star.

His next of kin is his wife, Gretchen. His parents are Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Miller, Weldon, Iowa.
