Pfc. Charles Boyd Coontz

Pfc. CHARLES BOYD COONTZ, pictured above, was killed on Anguar Island near the Philippines, September 17 [1944]. Pfc. COONTZ was a member of the eighty-first division. He is a graduate of the Garden Grove high school. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. D. B. [Durbin B. & Lena B.] COONTZ of near Garden Grove.

Memorial services were held at the Methodist church in Garden Grove Sunday.
