Larkin Miller, son of John and Fannie Miller was born in Decatur County, Iowa and departed this life November 19, 1946 at the age of 74 years and seven months. He was born and lived in Decatur County until he moved to Missouri where he made his home for a number of years. He was united in marriage with Cora Blackburn in 1893. To this union four children were born. He is survived by one child, Mrs. Lizzie (George) Butcher, two brothers and one sister, Sam Miller of Stonsberry, Mo., Alpha Miller of Leon and Ella Ellars of Leon. He is also survived by nine grandchildren. He was a great believer in God and put in most of is time reading the Bible. He remaind faithful to all who know him. Burial was in Nevada, Missouri Cemetery.
