Elected Teachers for Next Year.

The Leon school board has held two meetings the past week for the purpose of electing teachers for the Leon schools for the next year, and still have three grade teachers and the music teacher to elect. Prof. O. M. Gass was re-elected as superintendent at a salary of $1400, being granted an increase of $100 over last year, and he will remain with the Leon schools next year, which decision pleases both pupils and patrons immensely. The following is a list of the teachers and their salaries:

Lois Karr . . . . 60.00
Clara Barnes . . . . 65.00
Ella Grogan . . . . 60.00
Helen Deck . . . . 60.00

All of the teachers elected are at present teaching in the Leon schools except Miss Cash, and her salary has not yet been fixed.

Two More Teachers Elected.

At a meeting of the Leon school board Monday evening two more teachers were elected, Mrs. Vee Aiken as a grade teacher and Miss Mida Bradley as music teacher. There are still two primary teachers and one teacher in the High School to be elected.

Elected One More Teacher.

The Leon school board last week elected one more teacher for next year, Miss Nellie Mullins, who has been one of the efficient teachers in our school the past year. It is thought that the board will complete the work of electing the balance of the teachers in the near future, but it seems to be pretty slow work.
