Married – On Monday, September 1, at the residence of the bride’s parents in Garden Grove, Mr. FRED D. CLOSE of Leon, to Miss ALLIE WILLEY, of Garden Grove.

Mr. CLOSE is well known to our read - - -. He has grown up in Leon being the only son of Mr. E. J. CLOSE, who was for many years engaged in the mercantile business in Leon. Mr. CLOSE is a young man of good ability and pleasant address and has many friends among Leon’s young people. The bride is also known to many of our readers. Although a resident of Garden Grove, she has often visited here and has quite a large acquaintance among the young people of Leon. They best wishes of many friends are theirs.
