Thanks for you cemetery exploration, Nancee. I have a slew of relatives in
Lillie
Cemetery. Probably the most important is Martha Edwards Scott who was my
gggrandmother. She married William Scott who died in Illinois on the way
west so
she and her nearly grown son (Francis Marion Scott) came the rest of the way
and
were among the earliest settlers in the county.

Beyond Martha is Henry Sinco for whom my Sinco reunion was named. For some
reason his wife, Jane (Bennett) Sinco is buried in Kellerton. The Roscoe
Sincos,
he was the sheriff of Decatur County for quite a few years is also buried
there.

And Cash's and Buck's and I forget who all. However, when I was last there,
taking
pictures, the cemetery was mowed, the stones were standing and everything
seemed
to be copacetic. I'm ashamed to say that I haven't kept up with it.

I'm sorry you had trouble finding it -- I could have driven you right there.

I hope that this year I'll get back to Iowa to check on several cemeteries
there -- and in
Missouri. I feel they should be taken care of -- better than they have been
