HERBERT G. SCOTT, of Mountain Grove, Mo. and
MISS GRACE G. BALDWIN, of
this city, were married at the bride's
residence at l0 o'clock Wednesday
a.m., April 24, Elder A.E. Major, of
Winterset officiating.
Only the near relatives and a few intimate
friends of the contracting
parties were present. Immediately after the
ceremony and
congratulations, a rich and sumptuous
breakfast was partaken of, and the
happy couple, accompanied by the young people
of the company, went to
the "Q" Depot, when they took the noon train
for their future home, a
fruit farm near Mountain Grove, Mo.

The bride was born and raised in Leon; she
has for years been an active
and faithful worker in the Church of Christ,
where she will be greatly
missed, and her place hard to fill,
especially as teacher of the infant
class in the Sunday School. The groom is
also a Decatur County boy
having been raised on a farm near Lamoni.
