There was a literary organized at Welcome
School House on Tuesday night
of last week. The following officers were
elected: W.H. FULTON,
President, TOM MILLS, Vice-President, J.T.
MITCHELL, Secretary, F.J.
PARSONS, Treasurer.

JACK MITCHELL took a load of corn to Leon
last Tuesday for BOB ALBEE.

There came near being a fight at Soaper
School House last Thursday
night. Constable BOYER arrested three of
Codtown's promising young men
and being unable to pay their fine, they were
placed in the county jail.

CHICK ALLBEE and POKE ATHA did not get work
at Centerville and they
returned home Tuesday of last week.

MRS. MARK MITCHELL and family went over to
HIRAM HATFIELD's last
Saturday, it being her father's birthday.

BIGLEY and POKE ATHA helped TOM TRUITT husk
corn last Thursday.

There was quite a crowd attended court at WM.
SMITH's last Thursday
night.
