On Tuesday evening at 7:30 o'clock the
marriage ceremony of MR. ARTHUR
E. DORN, of Davis City, and MISS NELLIE
VARGA, was performed at the home
of the bride's parents on east Eleventh
Street.

To the melodious strains of Mendelssohn's
wedding march rendered on the
piano by the bride's sister, MISS MARY, the
bridal couple entered the
parlor and took their places on the south
side of the room under a
magnificent arch of roses, attended by MISS
ANNA RADNICH, of Davis City,
as bridesmaid, and MR. GEORGE FRAZIER, of
Creston, as best man.

Rev. G.D. Gurley, Pastor of the Presbyterian
Church performed the
ceremony, using the impressive ritual of the
Presbyterian Church, and
then hearty congratulations were extended by
the relatives and friends
present.

The bride was charmingly dressed in a light
brown silk, trimmed in
Passmentra, and carried a bouquet of cream
tea roses. The bridesmaid
wore a brown henrietta, which was also
trimmed with Passmentra.

After the ceremony and congratulations, a
sumptuous wedding supper was
served.

The groom is the son of MR. E.D. DORN, of
Davis City, and formerly
resided in this city, coming here from
Creston. He is a promising young
man, full of business, and at present fills
the very responsible
position of cashier of the Davis City Bank.

The bride is the youngest daughter of MR. and
MRS. F. VARGA. She is
beautiful and accomplished, and will make a
model helpmate, for the
husband of her choice.

A large number of very handsome presents were
received by the young
couple, testimonials of esteem from their
friends. The guests from
abroad were, MR. and MRS. E.D. DORN, Davis
City; MR. and MRS. D.E.
GATCHELL, Chicago; MISS ANNA RADNICH, Davis
City; MESSRS. GEORGE FRAZIER
and F.G. CALHOUN, Creston. The happy young
couple departed Wednesday
afternoon for Davis City, where a cozy home,
all furnished awaits them,
and thither the best wishes of many friends
follow them, hoping their
life may be a prosperous and happy one.
