MARRIED--Thursday afternoon, July 5, l894, at
the home of the bride's
parents, GRACE, daughter of MR. and MRS. E.W.
CURRY, of this city, to
DR. JAMES W. ROWELL, eldest son of MR. and
MRS. N.W. ROWELL of Afton.

The ceremony was performed by Rev. Geo. M.
Hughes, of the M.E. Church,
only the intimate families of the contracting
parties being present.
The happy young couple immediately took the
train for Lake Okoboji where
they will remain until about August lst,
after which they will be "at
home" to their friends in the cozy cottage
now occupied by Treasurer
Edwards.

This worthy young couple are too well known
to all our readers to need
any words of praise. The bride is the only
daughter of MR. and MRS.
E.W. CURRY. She was born in this city, and
has spent all her life here,
except three years during which she was
completing her education at
Memphis, Tenn. She is a charming and
accomplished young lady and enjoys
the friendship of a large circle of true
friends, and will be a help to
her worthy husband in battling life's tide.

DR. J.W. ROWELL, the groom, is one of our
leading professional men. He
was born at Afton, and after attending the
State University at Iowa
City, graduated with high honors from the
Dental College at
Philadelphia, the leading institution in the
United States. He has
resided in Leon for six years, and has made
many warm friends here
during that time.

The REPORTER takes great pleasure in being
numbered among the friends of
DR. and MRS. J.W. ROWELL, and wishes them a
long life fraught with much
pleasure and sunshine.
