Married at the residence of MR. SNAVELY near
Kingston, Decatur County,
Iowa, Feb. 28th, l894, Rev. Geo. Mitchell
officiating, MR. WILLIAM A.
DODGE, of Clarke County, Iowa, and MISS
LIZZIE HOUDESHELT, of Decatur
County, Iowa. There were about 35 persons
present. Promptly at seven
p.m. while the organ sent forth its beautiful
strain of music under the
direction of MISS LANEY, the bride and groom
came and stood under the
beautiful arch prepared for the occasion, and
then were united in the
bonds of matrimony by the short and
impressive ceremony.

After the ceremony, the guests partook of the
rich and bountiful repast
prepared by skillful hands for this event.

MR. DODGE is one of the enterprising farmers
of Clarke County, Iowa, and
is a man of energy and no doubt will succeed
in life, with the helper
that he has in the person of LIZZIE, who is a
young lady of fine
qualities, highly esteemed by a large circle
of acquaintences.

The young people present, passed a pleasant
evening together. The bride
and groom received a number of valuable
presents. May they live long to
enjoy the blessings of life and home, is the
wish of many.
