The following marriage licenses were issued
the past week:

JOHN L. BOBBINS, 27 to ANNA BATTELS, 22.
JOSEPH B. VAN METER, 59 to ELLA ROBERTS, 38.
FRANK A. NIDAY, 26 to SUSIE WARRICK, 2l.
BENJ. F. TOOVEY, 24 to MARY A. OGDEN, 2l.
ABRAM GOODMAN, 27 to LEMMA LUSE, 2l.

GOODMAN-LUSE MARRIAGE:

At the residence of the bride's parents, MR.
and MRS. W.J. LUSE, on
Tuesday evening, January 2d, l894, occurred
the marriage of MISS LEMMA
LUSE and ABRAHAM GOODMAN, Elder L.M. Kob
officiating.

Guests to the number of over sixty had
assembled to witness the
nuptials, and as the clock struck eight, MRS.
GRACE AMOS began playing
Mendelssohn's Wedding March. When the
contracting parties had taken
their position, the music ceased, and the
minister with a short and
impressive ceremony made them husband and
wife.

Congratulations were extended to the happy
couple by the entire company,
after which all were privileged to partake of
a supper of which the most
epicurean could find no fault.

The bride is a young lady of intelligence and
good attainments, and one
who will prove to be a good wife. The groom
is a son of SAMUEL GOODMAN
and is a young man of good sense and splendid
ability as a farmer and
stock raiser.

The marriage seems to be in every respect a
proper one, the young couple
seem adapted for each other. The bride was
the recipient of many useful
and valuable presents. The EXPRESS join
their large circle of friends
in extending congratulations and best wishes.
