CUSTER-BIGGS MARRIAGE:

At the residence of the bride's parents in
southeast Leon, Tuesday
evening at 8 o'clock occurred the wedding of
GEORGE W. CUSTER, of Davis
City, and CORA BIGGS, of Leon.

Promptly at 8 o'clock, to the strains of the
wedding march, played by
Miss Ella Kemp, the bridal party, assisted by
MR. CLARENCE FRAZIER, of
Davis City, and MISS NORA BIGGS, the bride's
sister, entered the parlor
and took their places before the floral arch,
prepared for the occasion,
while Rev. Hughes of the M.E. Church
pronounced the beautiful and
impressive ceremony that made them man and
wife.

The bride was tastely attired in a gown of
canary satin, with chiffon
trimmings. The bridesmaid wore a cream
albatross and silk.

MR. CUSTER, who takes from our midst one of
Leon's most charming young
ladies, is a young man of sterling worth.
For the past seven years he
has been connected with the firm of Severe
Bros., of Davis City, where
his genial manner, upright life and business
integrity, have won for him
a host of friends. Perhaps the brightest
enconium that could be passed
on him, would be that he is worthy of the
bride of his choice.

MRS. CUSTER is the daughter of MR. and MRS.
WM. BIGGS, of this place,
and a late graduate of the Leon High School.
She is both lovely in
person, and lovably in character, and will be
greatly missed in social
circles where her winsome manner has made her
a favorite, and in church
circles where she has been an earnest and
active worker.

The ceremony was witnessed by a number of the
bridal couple's intimate
friends; who did ample justice to the elegant
menu, which followed, who
left behind them a number of beautiful gifts
as tokens of kindly
remembrance; and who will join with us in
wishing that God may add his
richest blessings to the union of MR. and
MRS. CUSTER.
