On Sunday, December l6th, at 6 o'clock p.m.,
at the home of the bride's
parents, MR. and MRS. V.E. STEWART, who live
eight miles southeast of
Ridgeway, Mo., occurred the marriage of their
daughter, MISS AMY to MR.
ARTHUR WHISLER.

As the strains of the wedding march were
sounded by Miss Cora Sellars,
of Mt. Moriah, the happy couple entered the
parlor, attended by GEORGE
WHARTON and MISS OLIVE WEBB, and took their
places beneath a drapery of
white and green, where Rev. L.E. Powell,
Pastor of the Ridgeway M.E.
Church, pronounced them man and wife. The
bride was attired in white
serge, the bride's maid in light blue silk,
while the groom wore the
conventional black. After congratulations,
all were invited to the
dining room where a sumptuous supper was
served, the color scheme being
carried out in this room also. MISS CORA
SELLARS assisted the hostess
in serving to the sixty-three guests present.

The groom is a prosperous farmer and
stockman, being raised on a farm
near Leon, Iowa, and afterwards moved with
his parents to Ridgeway, Mo.,
and is well and favorably known in both
localities, is an upright and
industrious young man. The bride is known by
her sweet disposition and
many friends. They received a large number
of beautiful and useful
presents. This happy young couple will go to
housekeeping at once on a
farm one mile east of Ridgeway and the best
wishes of their many friends
follow them.

A reception was tendered them at the home of
the groom's mother, MRS.
EMMA WHISLER, on December l7th. Those from a
distance were MR. and MRS.
SCHUYLER KING and family, of Princeton, Mo.
