Fine weather.

UNCLE GIB HOUSEMAN has his house nearly
ready for occupation. He has
had a cave and cistern dug. JOHN LOCKWOOD
has put on one coat of
plaster and will put on another when this
dries.

Several of the young folks attended a hop
over east Friday night.

RAPHAEL SHRIFLER sports a new wagon.

GEORGE SWIGGLE, of Allerton, was in this
vicinity one day last week
buying fat cattle.

WM. H. ADAIR and family, of Andover, Mo.,
are visiting friends in this
vicinity at present.

A goodly number of people in town Saturday
and our artist was rushed
with work.

SAM DENT went to Allerton Thursday.

T.H. KNOWLES and JOHN WOOD went to Grand
River Thursday for MR. KNOWLES'
mill burrs, which had been shipped there
by mistake.

MARRIED--Sunday, October 28, at the
bride's parents, MR. PERRY BROWN, of
Wayne County, to MISS MILLIE DEISHER, of
Woodland Township.

L.P. RICHARDS and family, of Garden Grove,
visited with ANSON RICHARDS
Sunday.

REV. DANIEL LENTZ, of Garden Grove
Township, preached at the chapel here
Sunday and Sunday evening to a good
audience.

MR. HAMPTON, of Lineville, is carrying the
mails on this route at
present.

MISS KITTIE KESSLER is visiting in this
vicinity.
