MR. and MRS. C.M. KETCHAM returned last Thursday from a several weeks
visit in Colorado. They also visited Salt Lake City and other western
points while away.

MISSES LEAH and GRETCHEN TEALE came last Saturday afternoon from Davis
City to visit their fathr, E.W. TEALE, who is conducting an automobile
garage in this city.

MRS. W.M. WEST, of St. Joseph, who was visiting at the home of her
step-daughter, MRS. JOHN STANFORD, in this city, went to Davis City
Saturday evening to visit relatives.

H.T. COX, chief clerk in the Bradley Wasson Mercantile Co. Store, went
to Davis City Tuesday evening for a short visit and will go on from
there for a visit at Kansas City.

MRS. IRA B. OFFICER and sons returned last Friday afternoon from Gage,
Oklahoma, where they had been visiting at the home of MRS. OFFICER's
sister, MRS. J.F. AKORS.

MRS. JENNIE LOREY and daughter, MARGERY, visited last Thursday in
Pleasanton between trains with MRS. LOREY's sisters-in-law, MRS. CHARLES
WHEELER and MRS. J. WESLEY CHEW.

LILA, CECIL, PAGE and FERN MCKINLEY departed last Tuesday for a visit
with their grandparents, MR. and MRS. W.R. MCKINLEY, and MR. and MRS.
J.A. JOHNSON, at Russell.

MRS. JAMES MCCUTCHAN, who has been visiting at the home of her parents,
MR. and MRS. W.H. JENKINS, returned last Tuesday afternoon to her home
at Belfield, North Dakota.

ED H. SHARP departed last Saturday afternoon for Des Moines where he
will act as one of the assistant superintendents in the department of
machinery exhibits during the State Fair.

MISSES MARY and DELLA SNYDER, of Sharpsburg, Md., who are visiting at
the home of their cousin, MRS. L.P. VAN WERDEN, in Leon, returned last
Friday evening from a visit at DeKalb.

MISS HARRIETTE METIER arrived last Thursday afternoon from Bolivar, Mo.,
for a visit with her many Leon friends. She will visit with relatives
and friends at other points in this vicinity.

MISS NORA THOMPSON returned Saturday evening to her home at Davis City.
