S.D. CONWELL, a former resident of Decatur County and well known in
Leon, was married Monday of last week at Ogden, Utah, to MISS NELLIE
MARTIN, of that city. The following account of the marriage is taken
from the Ogden Standard, of January 26th:

At high noon yesterday occurred the marriage of S.D. CONWELL and NELLIE
MARTIN, both of this city.

MISS MARTIN is a native of the Emerald Isle, having come in this country
about two years ago. She is an accomplished young lady of admirable
character, and made a host of friends since coming to Ogden.

MR. CONWELL is a steam shovel engineer in the employ of the Union
Pacific Railroad Company. He is widely known throughout the west by men
in his particular branch of railroad work and is held in high esteem by
his employers.

The bridal party was attended by MISS RITY MARTIN, of Salt Lake City, a
sister of the bride and by ISAAC MARTIN of this city, a brother of the
bride. MR. and MRS. CONWELL were the recipients of many costly presents
from admiring friends both here and in Salt Lake. The bride and groom
are stopping at the Arlington Hotel for a few days, after which they
will leave for Evanston, Wyo., where they will make their future home.
