At the home of the bride's parents, Mr. And Mrs. GEORGE LAFOLLETTE, of this
city, last Saturday afternoon at one o'clock, occurred the marriage of their
daughter, MARY, to FRANK P. GENTRY, of Oskaloosa. Elder J.S. Coffin of the
Christian Church officiating. The wedding was a quiet one, there being only
a few immediate relatives present. Mr. And Mrs. GENTRY left on the 2:30
train for Oskaloosa where they were tendered a reception by the groom's
parents, and where they will spend the holidays. Miss LAFOLLETTE is too
well known to Leon people to need comment. Her friends are numerous in this
city. Mr. GENTRY is a traveling salesman for the Monarch Manufacturing
Company, of Council Bluffs, and while we are not personally acquainted with
him, he presents the appearance of a hustling business man. This worthy
couple expect to establish a home for themselves in Des Moines. A large
company of friends join in wishing them happiness and prosperity.
