Biography ~ Marietta Walker (Hannah) & Carlos McAllister Smith

Marietta Walker Hannah was born July 20, 1890, Sand Run, Ohio, the daughter of Donald James Hannah (1863 - 1936) and Mary (Cooper) Hannah (1873 - 1944). On September 16, 1927, she married Carlos McAllister Smith in Independence, Missouri. Carlos was born May 22, 1895, Lamoni, Iowa, the son of Don Alvin Smith (1871 - 1904) and Susan Zeanette "Nettie" (Pearsall) Smith (1873 - ), the grandson of Alexander Hale Smith (1838 - 1909) and Elizabeth Agnes (Kendall) Smith (1843 - 1919), great-grandson of Joseph Smith Jr. (1805 - 1944) and Emma (Hale) Smith (1804 - 1879). Carlos died on November 28, 1981, Cincinnati, Ohio. Marietta died on February 14, 1975, Fairfield, Ohio. They were interred at Rose Hill Cemetery, Lamoni, Iowa.
