Biography of David Lawrence Goehner
Graceland University, Lamoni, Iowa

David Lawrence Goehner was born in Wenatchee, Washington and came to Graceland from Dryden, Washington, home of a family pear and apple orchard. He is one offourteen Gilstrap family cousins who were Graceland students (the children of four sisters who also attended Graceland).

After receiving his diploma, Goehner returned to campe in January of 1995 to work as a writer and editor of Graceland's print communicaitons, including the alumni magazine. Unless you count all of those papers he had to write in Jon Wallace's English classes, that at the time really seemed like books, "The Graceland College Book of Knowledge: From A To Z" is his first book.

Goehner is the son of Lawrence and Rita (Gilstrap) Goehner and the brother of Cyndi (Goehner) Freeman. He currently resides in Yakima, Washington.
