Dennis Paul Thompson
Graceland University, Lamoni, IowaDennis Paul THOMPSON is a life-long resident of Lamoni and is currently the co-owner and manager of a local farm related business. He began his football career with the Lamoni High school "Demons," where he played both offense and defense and received many athletic honors.
He attended Graceland from 1976 to 1980 and earned his B.A. in business administration. In college, he lettered all four years, was named Most Valuable Lineman twice, received the Doc Hughes Award in 1977. THOMPSON was named to HAAC All-Conference and NAIA District 15 All-District teams three times. He was First Team All-American Offensive Tackle for the NAIA.
THOMPSON remained active with the Yellowjackets and was assistant offensive line coach from 1980-1982.
Dennis THOMPSON was inducted into Graceland University's Hall of Fame in 1988.
