Henry J. Walker

CENTERVILLE - Henry J. Walker, 62, author and retired salesman, died at 2 a.m. Sunday at St. Joseph Hospital of a heart condition.

He was the son of Henry James and Mary Belle Stith Walker, born in Memphis, Mo., on April 5, 1908. He was a member of the Covenant Church.

He married Lola Rushton in May 1958. Surviving besides his widow, are two sons, Gary of Detroit, Mich., and James of Traverse City, Mich.; three stepsons, Clifford Rushton of Des Moines, Donald Rushton of Rome, N.Y.; one step-daughter, Mrs. Lawrence Hopkins of Dallas, Tex.; 11 grandchildren; seven brothers, Earl of Leon, Dow, Richard and Hugh of Oskaloosa, Ernest of Memphis, Mo., Wayne and Ray of Seattle, Wash.; and two sisters, Maud McGrue of Boulder, Colo., and Bessie Mathas of Memphis, Mo.

The service will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Miller-Wehrle Funeral Home conducted by the Rev. Fred Jacobson of the Covenant Church. Burial will be in ....nd Cemetery.
