Ernest Paul Schindler

Ernest Paul Schindler, 70, route 2, Bloomfield, died at 1 p.m. Monday at his home.

A farmer, he was born in Davis County on March 81911 to Paul Louis and Elizabeth Handrich Schindler. He was a lifetime resident of Davis County and a member of the Pulaski Mennonite Church.

Survivors include a half-brother, Wayne C. Schindler of Bloomfield; and two half-sisters, Ethel Fast of Newton, Kan. and Irene Helmick of Bloomfield.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Pulaski Mennonite Church, conducted by the Rev. Roy Kaufman. The casket will be closed at the beginning of the service. Burial will be in the Pulaski Cemetery. The casket will be taken from the Wagler Funeral Home to the church at 11:30 a.m. Thursday.

Visitation from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Wagler Funeral Home.

A memorial has been established to the Pulaski Mennonite Church.
